Once upon a time, we were a couple regular guys with desk jobs who were bored with the workout options available to New Yorkers. Long periods on the treadmill and aimless stops at various weight machines were things we didn’t want to fit into our schedule. Most group fitness options didn’t appeal to us either. A few years ago, we discovered that exercise could be fun and getting in great shape didn’t require as much gym time as we once thought. We created workouts that were quick, intense and could improve athleticism in a variety of modalities. Workouts became competitive, social and very entertaining as we incorporated elements of our favorite games while growing up, from ‘tag’ to ‘capture the flag’. Exercise was soon something we looked forward to each day and we became faster and stronger than when we were playing high school sports.
